I have more than 35 years in the field of energy and public utility regulation, including work as in-house counsel for public utilities in Nevada and Kentucky, as an Assistant General Counsel for the Missouri Public Service Commission, and as the director of the utility consumer advocate offices in Missouri and Arizona. My experience includes:
My legislation experience reaches back to my service as a leadership assistant in the Missouri House of Representatives after graduating law school, and I have been involved in every Nevada Legislative session since 2005. I have testified before legislative committees in Nevada, Missouri, and Arizona, and served as counsel to both federal and state corporate political action committees. My experience includes:
I have worked in the field of attorney discipline and legal ethics, first as the Manager of the Arizona Supreme Court's Attorney Discipline program from 2002 to 2004, and then as a member of the Southern Nevada Disciplinary Commission from 2006 to 2018, where I participated in and chaired hearing panels that heard and decided discipline and reinstatement cases.
